You are the one with the practice. I am the one with the plan.
Gale Alagos, RPm. Philippines. Working with practices anywhere.
Most of this page is about you
You trained for years to do one thing well. Nobody mentioned that you would also be running a marketing department, a front desk, and a billing office, in the evenings, alone.
So one of two things is true right now.
Either your calendar has gaps you cannot explain and a website that has not changed since launch.
Or your calendar is full, your inbox has forty-one unread messages, and you are starting to wonder how long you can keep this up.
Both of those are admin problems wearing a marketing costume. And both of them are fixable by someone who is not you.
I have sat in that chair
I am a Registered Psychometrician with a Master's in Psychology from Ateneo de Davao University, and I see clients for wellness check-ins through an HMO partnership most weekday evenings. I know what a full caseload does to the week around it.
I also write, and have done it for four years. SEO articles for a practice management platform used by therapists and allied health practitioners. Self-help modules for a wellness app, reviewed by licensed consultants before they went out. Website copy and social content for private practices.
Before all of that, I have done operations and executive support for a web design agency.
Those are not separate jobs to me. The reason I can write a service page that does not overpromise is the same reason I can answer an intake email without you checking each and every single one of it.
Three steps, and you are only responsible for the first one
- Tell me what is breaking.
The form takes about five minutes. It asks what is not working for you.
- I send back a written scope.
What I will do, by when, what it costs, and what I do not control. No call unless you want one.
- We start with one piece of work.
One page if it is writing. A paid audit of your processes if it is practice support. You see how I work before anything else is committed.
What happens if you keep doing this yourself
Probably nothing dramatic. That is the problem.
The website stays a year out of date, the blog keeps its one post, the inquiry emails get answered on Sunday nights, and the practice stays about as full as it is now.
The version where this goes well is not dramatic either. You stop being the bottleneck for your own visibility, the money conversations leave the therapy room, and your evenings stop belonging to your inbox.
It is a practice that runs without costing you the thing you went into this work to do.
Before you ask
Will this become one more thing to manage?
Practice support starts with a paid audit of your processes, so nothing changes hands until you have seen how I work. No six-week training period. After the first two months it runs month to month, and either of us can stop at the end of any month.
Are you a licensed therapist?
No. I am a Registered Psychometrician, which in the Philippines covers psychological assessment and testing. I am not a licensed counselor in the United States and I do not present myself as one. What the training gives me is the boundary: I know where a claim crosses into advice and where a story should never have left the room.
Can you actually do both things?
The writing is public and you can read it. The operations work is not, because it was internal. Feel free to ask me on the form and I will describe it in detail.
